Sunset Paddle with the Birds on Dragon Run, 6:30 pm

Clarks Corner Road, Delaware City, DE (We will meet at the bridge that crosses over the Creek.)

We will be heading out for a Sunset Paddle with the birds and the ever-present beaver, on Dragon Run Creek. This is a great time of the year to see many of the herons and egrets from Pea Patch Island that forage in this wetland located just a few miles from the rookery. Delaware Audubon's Conservation Chair, Dave Carter, will lead the trip.

Bring your own canoe or kayak, or if you don't have one, let us know. We have 3 extra kayaks and a Canoe that we will bring along for a $25 donation to Delaware Audubon. Trip is free for those that have a kayak (but a donation is always welcome). Optional late dinner or drink afterward in nearby Delaware City or St. Georges.

Click here to register. If you need to rent a canoe/kayak, please email David Carter:
